Congrats to the beautiful Almanity Hoi An as it celebrates its first birthday!
A festive crowd of friends turned out earlier this month to wish the boutique property a big congrats on its first year of operations.
With 145 rooms built around a picturesque swimming pool with several water features, the Almanity Hoi An prides itself on being an oasis of relaxation just minutes from Hoi An’s ancient town. Its wellness concept includes a 90-minute spa journey included every day as part of the room rate. The resort’s three spa journeys are inspired by ancient remedies and local legends, like the Fable of the Hundred Knot Tree, which won the Harper’s Bazaar Singapore 2015 Spa Awards for Treatment, under the Holistic Health Category, just 4 months after the resort opened. The spacious spa (the largest in Vietnam) boasts 40 (!) treatment rooms and takes up an entire wing of the resort.
For the “Thank You” event, the pool area was transformed into a stage for pre-dinner cocktails and a stirring rendition of “Hello, Vietnam!”
The evening’s entertainment included a talented sand artist who created scenes of iconic Vietnamese monuments in literally seconds, keeping the audience in anticipation as each new scene took shape.
General Manager Andrew William Lambie led the evening’s speeches, recalling the milestones reached in Almanity’s first year, propelling it being one of Hoi An’s top-rated resorts in just a short time.
Guests enjoyed a beautifully prepared gourmet dinner with the accompaniment of classical violins and lively conversation.
After dinner, the party moved to the Blue Bottle Bar Cafe where infusions made with fresh local ingredients, refreshing signature chardonnay spritzers uniquely flavored with essential oils, and revitalizing alcoholic tea tonics were on offer!
A live DJ was on hand to keep the party going!
Guests who didn’t stay out too late were invited to experience early morning yoga by the pool.
After a hearty breakfast at Four Plates Restaurant (featuring Western Vietnam, Japan and Italian favorites), we again met at the Blue Bottle Bar Cafe for the unveiling of Almanity’s own brand of premium coffee, Blue Bottle.
Afterwards, some visited the nearby organic vegetable village of Tra Que while others headed out for some golf-based team building.
