International School Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC) opened its doors to teachers from other schools in Ho Chi Minh City and South East Asia with a common mission of redefining 21st century learning. Attending International Schools came from Australia, Laos, Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam.
This two-day event included workshops and InspireTalks allowing for collaboration and reflection among the educators involved. ISHCMC students, Sydney from Grade 11 student and Kimi from Grade 5 opened the conference with their very own InspireTalks.
ISHCMC educators also gave their own workshops, Grade 2 Teacher, Catherine Brown spoke about Teachers as a Facilitator of Learning. IB PYP Coordinator, Sam Sherratt presented about Exploring the Flow of Learning. They were joined by other invited educators to share insights and inspire. “This was an exceptional opportunity to share knowledge and to create an open environment with space and time to further develop pedagogy within our schools.
