After the huge success last year, International School Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC) students will participate in a Young Entrepreneurs’ Market at Saigon Outcast on Sunday, 23rd April from 12noon to 3pm.
The ISHCMC Grade 5 Business Entrepreneurs will be selling products and services developed as part of their business entrepreneurship unit. The products developed are all linked to the School’s International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) where students are empowered to practice skills, develop their ideas and knowledge while naturally taking action in authentic real-world contexts.
“I have been delighted to see how Mia has taken on the challenge of developing a business, she has fully embraced this and I have seen such a transformation. Mia has always had a love for animals and to see her develop a business proposal around her passion has been truly wonderful. I am proud to see how creative she has been through this process and to see her achieve more than she thought possible,” says Robin – Grade 5 Parent at ISHCMC.
Products available at this market include, upcycled lighting, bespoke skateboards, floating candles, clothing, homemade fudge and treats for pets. See the Facebook event for more information.
