Do Hai Anh – Winner of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE VIETNAM presents her new dance performance in Danzinc – International Dancers’ & Choreographers’ Residency Festival – Singapore
From 8th to 19th of August, Đô Hải Anh’s dance company Unicorn Art Co., Ltd is proud to present ‘Yên Lam’ dance performance which is a combination of contemporary dance & Vietnamese traditional dance – an exclusive, first of its kind that will be featured in “International Choreographers’ Platform” in Singapore, organized by Odyssey Dance Theatre ldt.
This is also the first step of the collaboration between Unicorn Art Ltd – Vietnam and Odyssey Dance Theatre ldt – Singapore. The purpose of this collaboration is simply enhanced artistic exchange between the 2 companies through Contemporary Dance.
Combining 3 different performances:
- 16 August 2018, Đỗ Hải Anh will be performing with Odyssey Dance Theatre in a major work to be premiered at Victoria Theatre.
- 17 August 2018 Hà Lộc & Như Ý (Unicorn’s young artists) will be performing with ODT Young Company at ODT Studio Theatre.
- 18 August 2018 Đỗ Hải Anh’s “Yên Lam” piece will be presented at “International Choreographers’ Platform” at Victoria Theatre.
The show offers guests an opportunity for involvement, exposure and action in the community and culture through the art of dance.
Some of the most exclusive parts of “Yên Lam” will be performed in Ho Chi Minh City during the month of October.

The biennial DanzINC – International Dancers & Choreographers’ Residency Festival returns for the 8th edition with distinctive and comprehensive programming across 6 months, focusing on collaboration, relationship-building and audience engagement with a strong message “Dancing Souls in Resonance IV”. Aligning with ODT International’s values of Open, Drive and Transcend, 6 major platforms with 6 productions will present diverse works by several reputable international dance companies and artists at small to major theatres from several countries.

Festival Director, 8th Danzinc – International Dancers’ & Choreographers’ Residency Festival
A renowned and prolific Singaporean dance ambassador, Danny has forged strong alliances with international organizations and artists for 2 decades, championing a unique Singaporean voice on the world dance map. Danny is highly commended by local and international press and media, government officials and dignitaries. As the Founder and Artistic Director of Odyssey Dance Theatre Ltd since 1999, Danny has directed and produced more than 100 mainhouse seasons. His signature works include 19 full-length works and more than 80 repertoire that are performed to global audiences of more than 30 cities in 20 countries. Danny is also the Festival Director of 2 notable Singapore International Dance Festivals – Xposition ‘O’ Contemporary Dance Fiesta and DanzINC –International Dancers and Choreographers’ Residency Festival, which he founded in 2001 and 2004 respectively. Danny was conferred the Doctor in Creative Industries at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia in 2010.
