European Day Concert with French Pianist Célimène Daudet

Célimène Daudet is a famous French pianist and has won prestigious international awards including the Jean Francaix in France, Val d’Isère, the FNAPEC “Ensemble Music” and Pro Musicis International Prize. Many of her recordings are highly acclaimed, including those of Bach. She is the artistic director of the “Lucien Durosoir Festival”. As a solo artist, she has performed in Europe, Asia and North America. Célimène Daudet will perform Mozart’s Concerto for Piano No. 23 at the European Day concert.

The concert also features excerpts from world famous musicals and stage plays including Messiah, Tosca, Nabucco, Rusalka and Candide.

“Le Cid” and “Die Csárdásfürstin” with be performed by some of the most prestigious opera artists in Ho Chi Minh City: Cho Hae Ryong, Pham Trang, Pham Duyen Huyen with HBSO chorus and pop vocal group Saigon Ladies Singers.

The program will be led and orchestrated by conductor Meritorious Artist Tran Vuong Thach and conductor Tran Nhat Minh.

The concert is organized by the and Ho Chi Minh City Symphony and Dance Theater, with support from Yến Đảo and Air France.
