HBSO’s New Year Gala Concert, held annually at the beginning of each year, has always been a cheerful and uplifting celebration to welcome a great new year. This year’s program will be incredibly colorful with excerpts of film scored from great cinematic masterpieces such as Pirates of the Caribbean, the 007 franchise, Titanic, Conquest of Paradise and the Lion King… The program will also feature J. Strauss’ waltzes and polkas.

The concert will be directed by internationally acclaimed Norwegian maestro Magnus Loddgard.
