DANANG, VIETNAM, 20th December 2019 – The Shilla Hotels & Resorts sets its first footprint out of Korea with the debut of its latest brand name, Shilla Monogram, in Danang, Vietnam.

As part of the global expansion plan, The Shilla Hotels & Resorts has introduced Shilla Monogram – an upper-upscale brand, fulfilling its three-line hotel brand system: The Shilla (Luxury), Shilla Monogram (Upper Upscale), and Shilla Stay (Up-Scale). Its first overseas property – Shilla Monogram Danang will be opened in Danang, Vietnam by end of the first quarter of 2020. Starting with Danang, The Shilla Hotels & Resorts is planning to enter about 10 foreign cities in the U.S., Indonesia, and Vietnam to become a Korean Global Hotel Chain.
Opened in March 1979, The Shilla Hotels & Resorts is also well-known as a part of Samsung Group. Shilla Monogram Danang – promising premium hotel experiences
The Shilla’s existing 40-year-old portfolio of hotels and resorts in Korea includes The Shilla Seoul and The Shilla Jeju for the luxury market and eleven Shilla Stay properties for the upscale market. Shilla Monogram is a new brand developed to exclusively offer the upper-upscale segment with the unique valuable hospitality services harmoniously blended between The Shilla’s heritage and the symbolic local traits. Shilla Monogram Danang is the first and flagship property established under Shilla Monogram brand name and is the first resort of this Korean leading hotel group in Vietnam. It is, additionally, developed in cooperation with TCG Land, a reputable Vietnamese real-estate and construction corporation under a hotel management agreement. This collaboration complements the expertise of The Shilla in hotel set-up and operation and that of TCG Land in construction and investment.
