New air route from HCMC – Dong Hoi

Low cost airline Jetstar Pacific has started flying a new route from Ho Chi Minh City to the town of Dong Hoi in Quang Binh province.

The first flight departed Ho Chi Minh City on February 1 and the airline says it already has more than 7500 bookings for the route.

A return service will be offered three times a week – on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. A 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft will be used for the service.

Jetstar Pacific says the new route was launched in response to customer demand and to improve trade, investment, tourism and cultural exchanges between Ho Chi Minh City and the centrally located province of Quang Binh, Vietnam’s smallest.
