Loc Truong – Founder & General Manager of East West Brewing – talks about the 1st Global Beer company that’s Made in Vietnam and From Vietnam.
The vision and dream has been from the start “connecting cultures through craft beer” and trying to make Vietnamese understand craft beer and drink higher quality & higher standard (craft) beer. The customer base is a mixture of all types; expats, locals and travelers. East West Brewing has received attention from across the borders, taking part in the South East Asian Craft Beer Conference to an interview with CNN.
This 1st year has not been without problems, ranging from small ones such as lack of parking space to packaging & distribution, to big problems such as a huge fire in the kitchen. But through client-focus and dedication to quality standards, today, one year down the line, East West Brewing has about 250 outlets spread throughout Vietnam, expanding from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Danang, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Mui Ne and Phu Quoc Island.
Going forward, the goal is to make more beer, have better customer service, maintain quality and brand-standard. Cheers to that!
In March 2018, East West Brewing celebrated it’s 1 year anniversary with a big bang at the prime location on Ly Tu Trong street in District 1.
