It’s part pop-up event, part concert, part exhibition and part festival.
But it’s all sale.
It’s GSS: Experience Singapore, the region’s premier yearly consumer retail expo. The shopping event returns this week starting June 21st.
The exhibition is coming back as a month-long, multi-event occasion for its 25th anniversary.
Until July 28th, GSS: Experience Singapore’s yearly bazaar will be offered alongside:
- A fashion show that kicks off the event Friday, June 21. It will feature over 300 models and dancers donning attire from both local and foreign designers.
- The Great Singapore Series, a local film and music showcase by local artists
- The Great Furniture Showcase, an interior design show featuring a wealth of designs, many of which will be shown only at this show.
- Tours and events centered around Kampong Gelam, one of Singapore’s oldest, most historically rich urban enclaves.
All of these will be available alongside Singapore’s longest running sale.
Throughout its 38-day run, GSS: Experience Singapore will treat shoppers to an experience centered around one of a kind retail events, including a weekly Friday shopping sale where attendees will be treated to some of the best discounts available in the entire show. On July 7th, shoppers will have this weekly discount enhanced with a 7 percent discount applying throughout the exhibition.
A prime selection of food and drinks will be available to shoppers so they won’t have to roam the retail wonderland hungry.
There’s plenty to see, so you’ll need breaks. GSS: Experience Singapore features a range of 40-plus retailers with offerings from fashion, novelty items, arts and beauty. Orchard Road will be the stage for this extensive collection of stores.
The GSS: Experience Singapore retail event event has things you might not expect to find. Looking for something with a little character, a little age even? Vintage and second-hand pieces pieces will be sold through the OKG Home & Lifestyle Bazaar.
Come for the shopping, stay for the events, and feel free to linger in the interactive art installation featured at the show.
The GSS: Experience Singapore exhibition is the only place you’ll be able to find Design Orchard’s mirror storefront showcase, which enables customers to shop for items virtually in a unique, new technology.
Oo La Lab and Ikea will offer a virtual reality interior decorating experiences that will allow visitors to realize their dream home in 3-D.
Long opening hours provide a big window of opportunity for shoppers to plan their visit. The GSS: Experience Singapore will be open daily starting at 7 a.m. and will close at 2 a.m.
