As part of its continuing commitment to the local art scene, Anantara Hoi An Resort is proud to open a new photography exhibition showcasing the work of the talented Vietnamese artist Hạ My.
Hạ My’s series of photographs, entitled “Country Home”, will be on display in the resort’s Vietnamese Riverside restaurant throughout November. The photographs depict an intimate portrait of her grandparents’ daily life in Saigon and reflect her eye for capturing the essence of people and their characters through the lens.
Known for her colourful and contrasting portraits, Hạ My is a young photographer who was born in Saigon and now lives in Hoi An. Her passion for people’s stories and culture inspires her eye for detail when visualizing the perfect picture. Her work has already been published in both Vietnamese and International media.
“I am very pleased to be chosen by Anantara Hoi An to show my work. It is my honour to introduce everyone to this special series about my grandparents showing simple moments in their daily life. Not only do we see aspects of traditional Vietnamese life, but I have also captured the sentiments of positive energy and love, which shows me that there is value in all of us even in our very old age,” said Hạ My.
Each of her photographs are available to purchase by contacting her directly on +84 90 247 1025, or at hamy.photographer@gmail.com.
