VegFest – Saigon’s largest Vegan Living Festival

La Holista & Sống Thuần Chay encourage a plant based lifestyle with Saigon’s first bilingual vegan festival

Ho Chi Minh City (November 24th 2019) – Sống Thuần Chay, Vietnam’s leading vegan lifestyle platform is teaming up with Saigon based holistic health and wellness company La Holista to host the city’s largest vegan festival, VegFest at HCMC City Youth Cultural Centre in District 3 on Sunday November 24.

Bringing together over 30 local businesses, chefs, fitness promoters, food and beverage outlets, and health and wellness experts, the free event will promote the benefits of living a plant based lifestyle.  Vegans and non-vegans will have the opportunity to try food prepared in some of Vietnam’s best plant-based kitchens and learn how it can improve our health, protect the environment and help end animal suffering.

The tastes of consumers around the world are changing, people are more concerned about health living, sustainability, the environment and animal rights.  This festival will showcase the best of Vietnam’s vegan culture, as well as exploring what it means to be vegan, discovering recipes, and exploring food and nutrition.” said Chiara Squinzi, founder of La Holista.

Celebrity guests include vegan chef, author and vlogger Duncan Kitchen who will be attending the festival to give a presentation and sign copies of his new book “Start Your Vegan Journey.”  Also attending will be vegan athlete, model, and recent winner of Vietnam Fitness Model 2019, Lâm Quách, who will be sharing tips about vegan health, nutrition and fitness.

The first VegFest of 2019 is free and open to everyone.  It will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural Center from 11am to 7pm on Sunday 24th November 2019 on 4 Pham Ngoc Thach, Ben Nghe, District 1, HCMC.
