ILA plans Charity event in world class music venue…
Join in ILA’s Community Network fundraiser later this month and help fund shelters for young boys and girls at risk on Vietnam’s streets.
The Community Network hosts a fundraiser every year to help support the charities. This year, ILA will host a fundraiser at Cargo Bar @ Q4 with a variety of traditional fair games, live entertainment and food stalls.
The Summer Fun Day is a non-profit event that will take place at the new world-class, 1000 capacity music venue, Q4, by Saigon River in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2012, local children’s shelters, including Little Rose for girls and The Green Bamboo for boys, both lost their funding. The Community Network has helped sustain these organizations over the past year.
“The volunteers who run these organizations work so hard,” says Jessica Schmit. “They’re shaping lives and they work miracles with what funds they have. It’s that difference between kids having a chance in life and having nothing. Everyone’s entitled to a chance.”
Joining ILA Vietnam in the ranks of sponsors of the Community Network are The Spotted Cow, Baba’s Kitchen and Khoi Tom.
Games on the day include ring toss, face painting, Balloon Burst and Coconut Shy. Live music will be played throughout the day, with food stalls onsite and chances to win some prizes in raffle draws.

Tickets: 50k VND (students) or 100k VND (regular), available from all ILA centres and at the door.
All entrance tickets come with four free game tokens (game tokens 15K VND).
