How to Do Las Vegas in Style

There’s doing Las Vegas, and then there’s doing Las Vegas in style. Sure, anyone can rock up to this incredible desert city and have a great time, but if you want a trip to remember, then there are a few key things that should go high on your list of priorities. From the first-rate restaurants to the jaw-dropping live shows, Las Vegas is home to some of the best memories that money can buy, but only if you look in the right places. Among the flashy lights and the over-the-top glitz, there is a vast array of culture and style to be tapped into. Just remember to pack your best outfits and bring your A game!

Ok, so getting married in Vegas might be one of the reasons that many couples come here, even if their own countries don’t recognize it as an official marriage, but there are plenty of other ways to get your romance on in style when you come to this city. Head to the Costa Del Sur Spa & Salon’s private couple’s retreat to unwind with your loved one or go for a romantic picnic in the beautiful Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. If you want to avoid the overcrowded gondola rides, the Eiffel Tower Experience is a fantastic place to spend some time wining and dining your other half.

While there are still plenty of buffet-style restaurants to sink your teeth into, the dining options in Las Vegas have significantly improved over the last few years. As well as the many celebrity chef restaurants to choose from, there is a vast array of international establishments offering everything from mouthwatering sushi to authentic Thai food. One of the most opulent places in town is the Joël Robuchon Restaurant, a Michelin three-star dining extravaganza offering 16 courses of beautiful French cuisine served over the course of three hours. The beautiful interior and impeccable service combine to make this a decadent experience that you will never forget.

For dinner with a view, there’s no better place than Twist by Pierre Gagnaire, located on the 23rd floor of the Mandarin Oriental. As you step inside the vaulted ceiling dining room, the glittering lights of Las Vegas provide the perfect backdrop to the ingenious menu created by Michelin starred-chef Pierre Gagnaire. Just don’t ask for a window seat if you suffer from vertigo! Another great spot for dinner with entertainment is any of the Bellagio restaurants, which overlook the enchanting fountain displays, seeing these incredible water cannons dance to music is a rite of passage when you come to Vegas. But if it’s simple but amazing cuisine you’re after, then you would do well to check out Kabuto Edomae Sushi in Chinatown, which is renowned for its perfectly seasoned and super fresh nigiri.

After indulging in some of the best food in town, the next item on your agenda should be catching one of the amazing live shows for which Vegas is famous. The best show in town right now is Absinthe, a circus-style cabaret show based on the semi-conscious state that comes with drinking the potent green liquor. Check out the incredible strongmen and insanely flexible acrobats as they tell the story through seemingly impossible stunts. Of course, you can’t come to Vegas without seeing one of its longest running shows, O. The star of the show is not the incredibly talented cast or even the hilarious comedy script but the jaw-dropping aquatic stage that changes from water to solid ground as if by magic.

Some tourists might like to take the bus to check out the local attractions, but if you want to do Vegas in style, then hire a helicopter to take you on an unforgettable journey over the Grand Canyon. Cruise the Colorado River, hang out at the West Rim and build up the courage to do the Grand Canyon Skywalk for 360° views before flying back in your luxury transport.

It is worth mentioning that having fun in this city is easy to do and doesn’t always have to involve lots of spending. There are plenty of ways that you can save money and have fun in Vegas, but if your budget allows for it, then it’s worth indulging in at least one or two of these amazing experiences so that you enjoy your time here. As Hunter S. Thompson once said: “A little bit of this town goes a long way.”

For the final stage in your stylish Las Vegas adventure, head over to the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art to check out the exhibit of 43 Picasso works as well as the monthly Art & Wine event where you can quaff fine wines as you take in the amazing artworks.  Oh, and make sure you pay a visit or two to the themed shopping malls so that you can pick up a shiny new outfit for your stylish adventure through Vegas!  Happy travels!
