Created by a Vietnamese-American man, N2 Heaven aims to take the Vietnamese ice-cream experience to the next level.
N2 Heaven’s founder, who prefers to remain unnamed, imported the latest ice cream making techniques and equipment from the United States. He uses liquid nitrate technology to create ice cream to order in just minutes in an experiential concept gaining popularity all over the world - but not until now in Vietnam.
At N2 Heaven cafe on 30 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan St, in D3, Saigonese can savor fresh ice cream that hasn’t gone through any lengthy packaging, freight and storage processes before reaching the customer.
Customers can create their favorite ice cream flavor by hand picking fresh tropical fruits from the bar, putting them into the specialty machine which creates the ice-cream. Of course all this is done under the enthusiastic and watchful supervision of the staff. Liquid nitrogen is dangerous stuff and staff have to know exactly how to use it safely.
If you’re the indecisive type, you can save time by ordering select ice cream that’s available in the chiller, one scoop is VND39,000, two scoops for VND74,000 and three is VND99,000.
There are over 10 delicious flavors, with the range changing seasonally. Throughout the menu there are some unique tastes of Vietnam - Guava, Sapote, Coconut with Pineapple leaves and especially Tamarind Ice-cream served with Chili Salt. Customers can taste test all the flavors in store to be sure of making the right choice.
The store has a humble atmosphere in a modern and simple style suitable for all ages. The second and third floors have their own space for those who want to entertain a crowd, with one table fitting 20-30 people. Free decoration are offered for parties and the third floor is equipped with a high end sound system, making this cafe versatile and welcoming to all types.
“Not only is it especially important to have great taste,” explains the owner, ”but the biggest criteria for us is to produce a healthy product for our customers.
“On the side, I also offer homemade Cider. This is good for the digestive system.”
